DJ Natasha

Natasha Chaney started off as a small town girl making mixed-tapes for friends, recording punk shows from pirate radio stations, and never turning down the opportunity to mess with the stereo at a house party: A natural born DJ.

She caught her break while working as a bartender in St. Louis, Missouri. When the scheduled DJ didn’t show up, she ran home to grab her modest (at the time) vinyl stash, and has since cultivated a unique style all her own. A style influenced by her love for future classics, obscure eighties, global electro-lounge, indie dance, afro/latin funk, italo disco, rare grooves, B-sides, Slim Whitman, Severed Heads, The Stranglers, and beyond.

Since moving to Hollywood in late 2007, Natasha has spun her way through the greater Los Angeles area, including residencies in Hollywood (Kung Pao Kitty, Angels & Kings), Beverly Hills (Nirvana), Santa Monica (Barcopa), and also co-founded Beauty Of The Beats DJ Collective. 

She can be found every Friday night at Las Perlas Mescal Y Cervesa in Downtown LA, and every Thursday night at West Lounge on the 17th floor of the iconic Hotel Angeleno in Brentwood.
